Brethren and Families,
Now that we are in the full swing of this shelter-in-place regimen, we can see that the world will keep turning and we will continue to survive to see better days.
Planning and attending social gatherings via internet conferencing has become the norm as well, and the month of October will be no exception. We have several Zoom gatherings this month, and an award presentation that I’m sure will be a great success.
On October 10th-11th, the “171st Annual Communication” of the Grand Lodge will meet, and will consist of the legislation and the Installation of the Grand Officers.
The Saturday Business Session is open to all Master Masons and Sunday’s Public Ceremonies and Installation are open to all.

On October 22nd at 7 PM, I’m planning the “Crow Canyon 551 Past Masters’ Roll Call”. This event is open to all Masons and in honor of our lodges Past Masters. A night to reminisce of their year, its triumphs and difficulties, and the up-and-coming Masons they have helped develop.
October 29th at 7:00 PM will be the celebration of W. Bro. Ron Katz’s virtual Hiram Award Ceremony. This is in recognition of a very worthy brother who tirelessly keeps our lodge and our history accessible on the World Wide Web. He also heads up the editing of our monthly Trestleboard.
I wish we could do this right (and customary) with everyone attending this momentous occasion at our lodge; enjoying each other’s families and company; topped with an excellent Prime Rib Dinner with fixings prepared by our heralded W. Exec Chef Roy Tamez and his Outlaw Culinary Crew.
However we will endeavor to host a memorable presentation for Worshipful Ron via a Zoom gathering which will be open to anyone and everyone.
