Wow, time sure flies. The month is April and we are into the second quarter of 2025. Let's check out some of the events that are coming up.
If you enjoy basketball, the members of Castro Valley DeMolay would like to play a half court game with Crow Canyon Lodge on Sunday, April 6 at noon. If you are just an observer, no problem. You can be a part of the cheerleading section. There will be food to enjoy with the DeMolays. We just ask that you inform our Secretary, Perry Klahr, that you will be coming. Go Crow Canyon!
The lodge would also like to see as many members as possible for our Public School Night that will be held on Thursday, April 24, at 6:00 PM. All who attend will receive a wonderful dinner which will be followed by a choral concert and the awards that will be given to two outstanding teachers. You can sign up at our stated meeting dinner or contact Perr Klahr (925) 699-1786.
Job's Daughters Bethel 1 will be initiating Aaron Johnson's daughter, Lacey, into the Bethel on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:00 PM at the John Knox Church in Dublin. It would sure be nice to give support to Lacey and to all the members and adults of Bethel 1. Also Bethel 1 will be at our building on Friday, April 25, to put on their popular spaghetti feed and silent auction starting at 6:00 PM. Tickets for the spaghetti feed are $15.00.
There is still plenty of room on the bus for the Reno Bus Trip that is scheduled for Saturday, June 7 and Sunday June 8. The cost is only $275.00 per single person and $420.00 for couples ($210.00 for each person). The price covers the hotel room and bus transportation. Each person brings their own bottle of booze, but the bottles can be shared. We will stop for lunch at a rest stop with restrooms available. Please, everyone, we will all have a great time on this trip.
Finally, we would like to be able to put on a White Table Night in order to give brethren a chance to take that special woman out to dinner (and maybe a little dancing). The list of possible events in 2025 had Saturday, May 31, 2025 as a possible date. Please let the lodge know if you are interested in having this event.
