Greetings, Brethren. Time flies fast and now it’s the second quarter of 2021! Before we know it, it will be time for us to meet in-person in the lodge and that’s something to look forward to. In the meantime, I heard the candidates’ coaches and our (relatively) newly obligated brethren are gearing up for their anticipated proficiency examination. My hope and prayers are for us to be able to confer degrees and initiate new brothers sooner, Grand Lodge permitting. Crossing fingers.

For now, we can only remain steadfast and thankful how far we have come since the Pandemic lockdown. It is authorities’ intention to slowly open up based on a tier system, depending on positivity rate of this disease. We are not out of the woods yet but we are definitely getting there. I have also heard that several of our brothers have gotten their vaccines, already! I am glad. The goal being to achieve herd immunity through vaccinations. As of now, I read that 2-3 households of fully vaccinated individuals can be together in-person without having to wear mask/face covering. That’s a good start!

In the meantime, let us meet together virtually during our stated meetings. The more attendees, the merrier. Social starts at 6:30 pm and the meeting at 7:00 pm. It’s a good way do casual conversation and update each other on the goings-on of our lives. The good thing about a virtual meeting is that you won’t have to worry about the commute to the lodge. The meeting is brought straight to your home and the comfort of your own chair/couch. It’s inspiring to know that we do have brothers who are now living out-of-state who are now able to attend virtual stated meetings. Also, in the last stated meeting, we have approved to donate financial assistance to our Youth Orders. The fact that they remain active and continue to have activities in such creative ways, utilizing technology and what not, is fascinating. We can only imagine what the future of Freemasonry holds. Even with this current obstacle that we have, we continue to evolve and adapt. Please watch out for an email invite from our Worshipful Master should you wish to attend.

Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternity. It is comprised of adult men (18+) of good character from every country, religion, race, age, income, education, and opinion. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, his faith, his country, and his fraternity.
