As we approach October, the officers are getting ready for two 3rd degrees. Nick Beardo will be raised on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM in Meno Park Lodge #651. Adam Brissey will receive his 3rd degree on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 7:00 PM. The degree on October 12 will be our traveling degree or lodge visitation and October 17 is a regular 3rd degree in our building. I would like very much to encourage all Master Masons to try and attend these two degrees. Let's give a big congratulations to Nick and Adam as they prepare themselves for the next step in Freemasonry.

As Senior Warden, I am currently in the process of setting up our 2025 line of officers who will serve Crow Canyon Lodge #551. I have also started to make plans for lodge activities, as well as getting the 2025 budget ready for approval at the January 2025 Stated Meeting. There are still some openings in the officer and committee positions. Please think about whether you can serve the lodge if you are asked or would like to volunteer. It is very important that these positions are filled.

Finally, if I am elected to serve as Worshipful Master in Crow Canyon Lodge #551 F & AM, the Installation of Officers will start at 5:00 PM on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Afterwards, we will retire to the dining room for a delicious prime rib dinner with all the trimmings. To make sure that there is enough food for everyone, please make your dinner reservations by signing the reservation sheet in the lobby on stated meeting night in October and November. You can also give Perry Khlar, our Lodge Secretary a call at (925) 425-3360 or (925) 699-1786 and make your reservation with him.

See you at lodge. Take care

Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest fraternity. It is comprised of adult men (18+) of good character from every country, religion, race, age, income, education, and opinion. Its body of knowledge and system of ethics is based on the belief that each man has a responsibility to improve himself while being devoted to his family, his faith, his country, and his fraternity.
