As the year 2024 is winding down and 2025 is getting ready to start, I wish to thank the lodge for electing me as Worshipful Master for 2025. I would like to announce some of my events for next year.
There are four brothers who are waiting to receive their Golden Veterans Award which I received on Saturday, November 23rd.
Two of these brethren will be awarded with the GVA's on February 8th, 2025. The other two will receive theirs on June 14th, 2025.
I am planning to hold a visitation to Mariposa where we will raise a candidate to Master Mason which will be held from Friday, October 3rd, 2025 to Sunday, October 5th, 2025. I have spoken to one of the members of Mariposa Lodge and received the phone numbers of the brother who will be Worshipful Master of that lodge in 2025. So, go ahead and mark your calendars for the first weekend in October 2025.
There are other activities and events that have been placed on the Crow Canyon Lodge #551 Installation Program. My hope for 2025 is to have a year that has a number of enjoyable events to give us a wonderful time.
Finally, if you are planning to attend our December 7, 2024 Installation, try to get your Prime Rib reservations into Perry Klahr at (925) 699 - 1786 by November 30, 2024, so that Roy Tamez and his crew will have enough time to get everything needed for a great dinner following the Installation.
